The Beauty of Marin

We'll meet from 9:00am - 3:30pm every day, at various locations in Marin County. On the first day I'll start with a short presentation, followed by a demonstration. The rest of the time everyone will paint, as I circulate amongst the group. On the remaining days, I will give a demonstration either in the morning or afternoon, and the rest of the time will be spent painting. 

 

This is a plein air painting class, and all of our work will be done outdoors, on location. The primary focus is on values, light ,and composition. Instruction is geared toward intermediate painters working in oil, though artists working in other media are welcome. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about skill level, different media or anything else.

October is my absolute favorite time of year to paint in California, and the light is spectacular.

The cost is $650 per person.  Limited to 12 painters.
